Online Casino Affiliate Programs
The
online gaming industry makes up one of the largest portions of
internet transactions today. In the past year alone, online
players wagered over eleven billion at online casinos, and that number
continues to climb every year.
Basically an online casino affiliate program is no different than any
other affiliate programs we are so used to seeing. You get a replicated
web site or the use of an online casino’s banners, send targeted
visitors to that site or banner and then make a commission. The main
difference from your every day internet affiliate program is that your
commissions are calculated on the net losses of the player, usually
these commissions range from 20 - 35% depending on the size of the loss.
In the case of using banners to promote a game, you would be placing
these banners on a web site of your own, or a site that you pay for
advertising space on that would allow this kind of a banner. Then it is
up to you to generate clicks on that banner by sending targeted traffic
to it, through different marketing campaigns.
Should you refer another “web master” or person with their
own site, that wants to place banners on their site too, they would be
placed directly under you, like a team member, and then you would get a
percentage of the commissions from that web master’s referred
gambling losses as well.
I believe online gambling is illegal in the U.S., however there still
remains no legislation to govern it from existence, and tons of people
enjoy playing every day. I am not a real big gambling man myself, but
have thrown a few bucks away here and there while on vacation.
Promoting an online casino affiliate program may be a very lucrative
way to earn cash, however I could never personally recommend any one
considering it as a long term plan. Many have I am sure, and that is
great for them, but it’s just not my thing.
